Hosted vs. Premise-Based Telephone Systems:

Couldn’t your organization use a high-quality, reliable, and feature-rich telephone system (PBX) that’s also easy to use? At HopDial, we use hosted PBX networks, rather than traditional premise-based PBX phone systems. Hosted networks offer the same features as premise-based systems plus advanced technology that can readily adapt to meet your current and future needs.

Benefits of Hosted PBX and VoIP Services:

Eliminate the hassles of traditional phone closets
Easy to use, full PBX capabilities- all without maintenance or labor fees
Lower monthly phone bills (even with hosted PBX and VoIP services included)
Future proof your phone system

HopDial can help organizations like yours to realize the tangible benefits of hosted PBX and VoIP services. The added features and built-in flexibility of HopDial phone systems can meet the telecommunication needs of a variety of small businesses and organizations, from car dealerships and doctors’ offices to law firms, K-12 schools and small call centers.
Usually, buying a premise-based phone system or PBX is just like buying a car. In time, they become outdated and require hardware and software upgrades as well as the added costs of installation and professional services. HopDial’s hosted networks on the other hand, are flexible and constantly upgraded with new technology and new features. Most importantly, HopDial grows with your organization’s evolving needs; easily allowing for the addition/removal of features, users, lines etc. as needed. HopDial is simply the efficient, hassle-free alternative to premise-based phone systems.
Unlike premise-based, hosted phone systems are not housed onsite; therefore system uptime will not be your concern. In the event of a power-related, network-related, or weather-related outage, inbound calls can be automatically re-routed to an alternate location or device; minimizing service interruptions and related business costs.

HopDial Features That You’ll Love

This is the part of the system that initially answers incoming calls, eliminating the need for a full-time receptionist. Callers hear a custom greeting, and then are given options for routing their calls. This greeting is fully customizable by you at any given time.
Callers can be given access to a company directory when they don’t know a specific extension number. You have the dial-by-name directory on the last name of the employee.
With HopDial, you can transfer callers anywhere – to another employee, to the operator, to a queue, or to an outside phone number.
Improving your organization’s image can be as easy as playing a little music. While callers are waiting to be connected to an extension, they can listen to music or a recorded message.
A ring group is a way for a group of extensions to share the distribution of incoming calls. Typically support, sales, and accounting would have ring groups to share the incoming calls among employees of a company sequentially or simultaneously.
Our system allows you to customize the greeting that callers will hear.
This allows you to receive email notification when a new voicemail message arrives and allows you to listen to it through your computer or smart phone.
Call Waiting allows callers to reach you even when you are on the phone with another call.
With the Call Park feature, you can “park” a caller on a dedicated extension while you use your phone to make another internal or external call, or page another employee to pick up the call. A parked call can be picked up by any extension within the organization.
With follow-me calling, extension owners (employees) create a list of phone numbers where they might be reached, such as the number of the phone at their desk, their home office, or their mobile phone. One of these numbers will be set as the default number that the system sends every call. If the employee enables follow-me, calls not answered at the default number will then be transferred to any other enabled numbers on the follow-me list, as the system attempts to “find” the employee and connect the call. If no one answers any of the numbers, callers are routed to the employee’s central voicemail. With follow-me you never have to miss an important call because you’re on the road since you can be reached in any location there is a phone. This can be setup to ring your devices in order or simultaneously.
Since you may want your phone system to act differently after business hours, HopDial offers several after-hours options, available at the click of a button or on a set schedule: Change the greeting callers hear, but leave the system fully active. Callers will know that business hours are over, but may still try to connect to an extension. With follow-me calling, answering options, and voicemail each employee can decide if they want to continue to take calls or simply collect messages. Change the greeting and send all calls to voicemail. You’ll know that messages have been recorded through our notification features.
To help make system configuration easy, we provide a graphical, web-based tool, accessible from any web browser, tablet, or smart phone. Administrators are granted access to oversee, change, and monitor PBX system functions such as Ring Groups, FindMe-FollowMe, Music on Hold, Holiday Hours.
When you need quiet time put your telephone in a state that will not ring and calls will automatically be forwarded to voicemail.
Use your smart phone just like a desk phone sitting in your office so that you can receive calls at your extension, transfer calls to other extensions – like you are just sitting in the office on your desk phone.
